Bentley G. Hutchings

Originally from Utah, Bentley attended Utah Technical College majoring in biology. After meeting his wife, Tami, at BYU in Utah, they moved back to her hometown of Honeoye, New York. Bentley started his career as a financial planner with Upstate Professional Planning Services in 1985. He then joined a newly formed Essex Investment Group in 1987. As Vice President of The Essex Group, Mr. Hutchings was responsible for client education and assisted in advisor marketing as well as his main duties as a financial advisor. After 11 successful years as an independent financial services firm, The Essex Investment Group was purchased by the regional firm of McDonald Investments out of Cleveland, Ohio, which was subsequently purchased by KeyBank, Inc. On April 15, 2004, The Hutchings Financial Group opened for business in its current location in Bushnell’s Basin, in the town of Pittsford, NY, as an independent financial services firm.
 
Bentley has been a frequent lecturer for many major employers in the Central and Western New York area, such as the University of Rochester, Xerox Corporation, The Gleason Works, many area hospitals, medical facilities, manufacturing facilities and a variety of other employers. He is also involved in speaking to many professional associations such as the Institute of Managing Accountants and The Estate Planning Council of Rochester and has been the professional guest on local television talk show as the financial expert. Currently, he is actively involved as a leader in the youth groups at his church and donates his property and time to work closely with the Bristol Hills Pony Club, USA. Bentley and his wife Tami currently live on their small farm in Livonia, NY and have 4 children: Adam is attending the University of Utah with a psychology major, Kyle is doing missionary work in Peru, Wesley is attending Southern Utah University and Allyssa is the last one left at home and currently in High School at Honeoye Central School.
    
 

Kathleen Ciccarone

Kathy is a native of Rochester, New York. She graduated with an Associate’s Degree from a local business college and right after college joined the Essex Investment Group in 1990 to support their new sales and marketing departments. Since then she has had extensive training and education in stock trading, back office operations, and securities procedures. Kathy is a dedicated mother of 2 wonderful and active boys, Nicholas and Michael and with her husband Pat currently live in Greece, NY.


 
Joshua Carlson
 
Originally from Canandaigua, NY, Joshua is currently attending Monroe Community College and will graduate at the end of the fall semester with an associate’s degree in Business Administration.  Joshua has a passion for investing and will be assisting in client communications, investment research and analysis, database management and event planning.  Joshua enjoys working out, outdoors activities, sports and cooking.
